If you are someone who is actively involved in the offshore industry, you may wish to consider applying for membership in The Offshore Institute.

The Offshore Institute is a leading multidisciplinary international professional body. It has members in more than thirty countries and is open to all persons possessing approved degrees or professional qualifications and who are studying or engaged in offshore or international planning.

Education

One of the raisons d'etre of The Offshore Institute is the education of persons involved with offshore planning and the offshore industry. This educational focus applies to those in the early stages of an offshore education or practice as well as to those more experienced.

Member Discounts

Toward meeting its educational goals The Institute sponsors or is otherwise involved with various programs throughout the year. Members of The Institute who attend historically have received a 10% to 20% discount on delegate fees.

Thus, an Institute Member can recoup the annual Institute dues, at least in part, and quite possibly in whole, by attending one or more select programs of international prominence which the Member may have attended in any event.

In line with the educational goals of The Institute is the further benefit of price concessions to Institute Members on various publications. Some of these concessions have already been negotiated, and others are being discussed.

Member Newsletter

Institute Members receive without additional cost the official quarterly e-magazine of The Institute, Financial Intermediary. This publication has proven to be an excellent means of communication with Institute Members about world events and developments which affect those having an offshore or international practice.

Networking

Another principal goal of The Institute is fostering relationships among offshore practitioners throughout the world. One of the fundamental tenets of The Institute is that the offshore industry as well as Institute members will benefit from those active in offshore planning having ready access to qualified and competent contacts in all parts of the globe. Institute functions provide but one of the networking opportunities.

Prestige Of Membership

Last but certainly not least of the important benefits of Institute membership is the prestige of membership itself. The Institute has fast become a well-recognized and well-respected force in the offshore industry. Many of our Members have experienced how membership in The Offshore Institute has enhanced not only their own credentials, but their place in the industry as well.
